Lawnscaping Challenge #6

It’s time for another Lawnscaping Challenge, and I’m super excited about this one because I think everyone will be able to play along. You can incorporate this challenge into any stamp set you have (and of course, Lawn Fawn stamps are always encouraged!). Here’s the challenge for this time around:

Here’s what I came up with:

I think I’m going to give this card to my dad. I think he would like the simple qualities of it that don’t make it feel too “girly.”

Supplies: Cardstock – Papertrey Ink (Smokey Shadow and Vintage Cream), Patterned Paper – Fancy Pants (It’s the Little Things Collection), Stamps – Lawn Fawn (Sophie’s Sentiments and Critters in the Snow), Heart Punch – Stampin’ Up!, Ink – Tsukineko (Memento Black) and Ranger (Distress Ink in Tea Dye), Pen – Uniball Signo Black, Markers – Copic (T9, T4, T5).

And we’re excited to introduce our new sponsor: Simon Says Stamp (one of my very favorite online crafty stores)! They’re sponsoring this challenge and look what you can win just by creating something with a pop of color and posting it to the Lawnscaping blog?

Now go check out all the other lovely ladies’ blogs and then get started! Who wouldn’t 25 dollars to spend on more scrappy supplies? (And they carry Lawn Fawn, too!)

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you get a chance to participate in this awesome challenge and spread the word about this challenge site. We’d love to see some of your friends playing over here as well. :)

Be back later today with my Video Tutorial Monday #28! Hoping your Monday is the least “Monday”ish as possible.

Love,

Britta

  1. One of my favorite color combos! Very cute card, I love those little penguins and that red heart just pops off the paper!

  2. This card is so cool, Britta! Wow, at first I thought you’d journaled all that — I was like, “girl, are you crazy?” How time consuming would that have been? Love your little grayscale penguins and the red heart!

  3. Totally fun card, and way too cute.

  4. Totally love your card Brit! This challenge looks like fun to play along – hopefully I’ll get chance later this week ;)
    Hugs, Ruth S
