A Look Back on the No-Stress Distress Inks Class.

This week since I’m really crazy busy with the start of classes for summer, project deadlines and friends coming up to visit, I thought I would take a little bit of the pressure off myself and instead of posting another two lessons, I would look back on both my No-Stress Distress series and my favorite videos from my Video Tutorial Monday series (which I’ll post on Friday or Saturday this week). If you’re new to my blog or even someone who has been reading for a while, I thought it would be a good resource to have all of my favorite tutorials linked up in one post. Without further ado, here are links and everything else I can think of related to my No-Stress Distress Ink series.

Lesson 1 – Distress Ink Basics

Lesson 2 – Distress Ink Buying Guide

Lesson 3 – Edge Distressing 101

Lesson 4 – Background Blending 101

Lesson 5 – Background Blending with Masking

Lesson 6 – Clear Emboss Resist

Lesson 7 – Two-Color Clear Emboss Resist

Lesson 8 – Water Techniques: Easy Watercolor Looks

Lesson 9 – Water Techniques: Watercolor Stamping

Lesson 10 – Water Techniques: Stamping with Water

Lesson 11 – Water Techniques: Watercolor with Distress Inks

Lesson 12 – Putting it All Together

No-Stress Distress Inks: The E-Book

Okay, so you might be wondering: why should I buy the e-book when all of the lessons are right here in this post? Here are my top three reasons why:

  1. The e-book contains all of the original 12 lessons in a polished, cohesive formate with easy links to each video, but it also includes 8 pages of bonus material: three full lessons, two charts, links to more than a dozen cards that use Distress Ink and a couple of extras.
  2. Included with your purchase is access to three additional video lessons. It’s over 40 minutes of extra video!
  3. The proceeds from the book go right back into this website and help me bring more videos to you. Everyone loves more videos, right?

And because I love ya, if you buy a copy of the e-book from now until Wednesday, June 22nd at 11:59 PM CST and use the code LOOKBACK15, you get 15% off your purchase! Feel free to spread the word to your friends as well. There is no limit to how many people can use the code. Just make sure that you take advantage of the offer by next Wednesday. :) Click here to buy it now.

Here are links to the essential supplies for the class. Thanks to the wonderful inlinkz for letting me to try out this new linky supply list beta feature! Let me know what you think; I’m testing it out so I can help them develop the final product. So if you notice any bugs or hiccups with the list, please feel free to let me know.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this look back on No-Stress Distress Inks! While watching these videos, do you feel like there is something else you would like to see a video on that’s Distress Ink related? Leave a comment and maybe I’ll do a mini series in the future with some more techniques. :)

Hope you’re week is going well. Only two more days until the weekend! And oh what a relaxing weekend it will be.

Britta, links to products won’t work for me. I get message along the lines of r.cfm(GIF image 1×1 pixels. I use Firefox, often have same problems with links on other sites, Jennifer Macguire for example. Love your site

    • Hi Karen,

this happens because your browser is setup to block small images that are used to keep statistics. You will notice that if you use another browser, it will show up properly. This method is also used by ad networks so if you have an ad blocking software running, that might cause the issue. I noted it down so we can find another way to keep Britta’s statistics while not being blocked by ad blockers. :)

Thanks so much, what a nice idea – I am new to your blog – visiting after hearing you on the PTI radio show – you are amazing! Good luck with summer classes!

  3. I found your blog after watching all of the No-stress Distress Ink series. Thanks to you, I own 1 distress ink pad. :) But I really like it and will be growing my collection slowly. The series was great and I learned a lot!
