Finally home… please send coffee.

After 12 days, 8 hours in the air, 6 hours in airports, 2 days spent with all three of my cats (more on that later) and a 5-hour drive, I’m finally HOME!

(my family in the airport back in Wisconsin on Sunday)

My own bed has never felt so good in my entire life. As much as I adore my family (and vacation), it feels amazing to be headed back towards a normal schedule. Let’s just disregard the fact that I have a nasty cold (as does my entire family… thanks to my little bro for saying “I’m sure it’s just allergies,” and then coughing all over the place), the fact that my body has absolutely no sense of what time it is and then fact that my brain still seems to be on vacation (I tried to brush my teeth with face wash this morning. Go me.). I don’t mind because I’m home!

(I snapped this picture on my way to work today. 70 degrees and sunny with no humidity. This is why I love Minnesota.)

So I’ve responded to e-mails thus far. I’m going to go through comments here on the blog tomorrow. So if you have sent and e-mail to me and haven’t gotten a reply, I either overlooked it or it got lost. Please re-send. :)

As you might notice, there was no All About Stamping post yesterday. Oops. I had planned to do it last night, but my body had other plans. Needless to say, I slept like a baby for way too many hours last night. Hehe. So #4 will be up tomorrow. I can’t wait to sit down at my desk and get back to creating! I’m inspired and raring to go. So happy.

Anyways, I’m here to share this project that I made for the May Arts Design Team call. It went live today, and I would love it if you could go over and leave a comment on the post. More comments = more votes for me. :) Thank you so, so much! Here’s what I made:

Supplies: Cardstock – Papertrey Ink (Berry Sorbet, Plum Pudding, Simply Chartreuse, Vintage Cream, Vellum), Lace Ribbon – May Arts, Stamps – Hero Arts (CL414 Classic Messages and S5507 Envelope Pattern), Ink – Tsukineko (Tuxedo Black Memento) and Ranger (Forest Moss Distress Ink), Pearls – Hero Arts (Hero Hues Neutrals Mixed Accents).

Thanks for visiting today! I’m off to go work more on my to-do list. Boy there’s a lot, but at least I know I can crash in my very own bed when I get tired. ;)

Love,
Britta
