This is my third little behind-the-scenes post for you this weekend. This past week was the May Arts and Tattered Angels week over on the May Arts blog. I was lucky enough to get some time to play around with some Tattered Angels product and make a little video tutorial for the may arts blog! On the card, I use Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Glaze in conjunction with May Arts ribbons for a really fun look. Ready, set, watch!
Here’s a picture of the finished card:
I love the possibilities of this masking with lace technique. Thicker lace, more misting, different paper or maybe even trying the chalk mist would all make a difference in the results. I love this one this way, though!
As a side note, make sure you subscribe to the May Arts Channel on YouTube so you can see my videos as soon as they’re posted over there. There are also other fantastic videos from the other wonderful May Arts video tutorial designers. So much inspiration! I really enjoyed playing with this awesome Tattered Angels products and think they’re a wonderful addition to my stash. My favorite that I got to play with? The Glimmer Glaze. I just love that it has a brush included for easy application… I’m so much more likely to use a product if it has no extra clean up.
Today’s another *hopefully* productive day for me. I’m filming a video tutorial or two, doing some sewing for class (both for Packaging Design AND Amy Tan’s awesome class over at BPC) and trying to get ahead before the week starts. Wish me luck! I’ll be back a little later today for my last little post in this mini series for you. :)
P.S. Here’s a little Trixie picture for you, taken with my cell phone this afternoon. Trixie is truly the queen of this household… at least in her mind! I guess she likes my iPad as much as I do. :)
