Simon Says… Gothic or Halloween-themed!

Hello and I hope you’re ready for a new Simon Says Stamp Challenge! This week is all about creating something halloween or gothic-themed, and I’ve pulled out my favorite Halloween-themed stamp set Happy Hauntings from Lawn Fawn.

I did the background by stamping the Grid Pattern background from Studio Calico + Hero Arts in Versamark and then embossed it with Zing! white embossing powder. Then I added three colors of distress stains liberally all over the background and sprayed it thoroughly with a water and perfect pearl mist. I blended it a little with my fingers and let it dry, and this is how it turned out. :)

Also, the house is done with distress stains. I just dabbed them on my craft sheet and then painted them on with a paint brush. Bam! Instant water colors with no water necessary. :)
