Hello and I hope you’re ready for a new Simon Says Stamp Challenge! This week, we’re challenging you to make a tag (or incorporate one into your creation). I decided to use a die cut and alter into a fun tag for a card. I took the largest die from Nestabilities Labels Four from Spellbinders and came up with this:
The tag started out as plain white Neenah cardstock and then I inked over the embossing with Iced Spruce Distress Ink (from the Winter Seasonal Limited Edition set). I thought the edges needed a little something, so I added an outline with my favorite white pen for some emphasis. Everything else came together from there… I love this neutral pack of twine from My Mind’s Eye. It’s divine!
I’m not usually a tag kind of girl, but after this card I think I’ll be making a few more like this in the near future. They’re a really fun element to add to a card front! Now make sure to head over to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog to view the rest of the design teams’ creations and join in the challenge yourself. Just by entering, you’ll have a chance to win this fabulous prize provided to us by the lovely Heidi:
