It’s time for another Lawnscaping Challenge. Yay! Here’s the challenge for this week:
This is something I’ve always loved to do with Lawn Fawn stamps, so I really enjoyed this challenge. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I have extra colored critters currently littering my desk. I think that calls for making another card before I pack my things away! I have to start packing tonight since I leave on Thursday. Eek! So excited to be home! Anyways, here’s my creation:
The gnome from Gnome Sweet Gnome as well as the house are the perfect compliment to the cuttle little bunny and butterfly from Critters in the Burbs. I used the hills and dimensional adhesive to create perspective that gives the house the right size for the gnome and his pet bunny. Overall, I kept it simple and let the colored pencil coloring shine. Have I mentioned how much I love my Prismacolor pencils. Oh so, so much.
A huge thanks goes out to Lawn Fawn for sponsoring this challenge. We wouldn’t be here without them because we are a challenge inspired by them. Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn website here, their awesome blog here and of course their full line of stamps and now a full paper collection over at Simon Says Stamp.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Now make sure to hop over to the Lawnscaping blog for a ton more inspiration and details on how to enter the challenge. I can’t wait to see what you create!
I’m off to take a nap and recover from finally being DONE with classes. WOOHOO! Next task: figuring out how I’ll get hoards of my things back home to the US. I’ll miss Barcelona and the rest of Europe so much, but I’m more than thrilled to go home and see my family, friends and pets again. I’m going to give them all so many hugs! After the hugging, I’m going to eat all of my favorite American foods until I can’t eat anymore and then watch so much American tv. Yep, I’m a true American at heart.
If I have some spare time in the next couple of days, I’ll be going through my recent pictures and hopefully getting some more up here for you to see. If I’m too busy running around Spain before I head home, though, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this adventure with me. It’s been exciting and scary and amazing all at once. So thank you for sharing everything with me. <3
