Happy Birthday, Chari!

Today the lovely Danielle has put together a surprise blog hop for the lovely Chari Moss. You should be hopping to my blog from Melissa Shea’s blog. If you would like to start at the beginning, head here to Danielle’s blog. :)

Happy birthday, Chari! I’m so happy to be able to call myself your friend and look forward to meeting you in person very soon. I’m so happy to have your talent and inspiration in my life! <3 Here’s my card for you:

I used chose Quinn’s ABCs for the sentiment, because they’re bold and happy. I love the look they have when they’re popped up off the page like they are here! The background is a piece of my absolute favorite watercolor paper first inked with some Tumbled Glass distress ink and then stamped with the Zig Zag Background stamp. To get this trendy gradient effect, I colored the stamp with Distress Markers (Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Faded Jeans) and then sprayed the stamp with some Perfect Pearls + water in a mister before stamping. I love this look and will definitely be doing more of the gradient idea soon! And of course, I couldn’t complete a card as happy as this one without a smattering of my favorite gemstones.

I hope you like your card, Chari! I’m mailing it out today and it should get to you in no time. Have an amazing day and enjoy the rest of the hop!

The next stop on this hop is Marie’s blog. Prepare for some more cuteness!

P.S. I’ll be putting up my weekly video tutorial tomorrow on Thursday with hopefully a fun haul video as well! Make sure to stop by tomorrow for that. Sorry it will be going up late – my back is giving me issues. <3 B
