It’s time for another Lawnscaping challenge. Yay!
I was super inspired by the balloons, so here’s what I came up with:
This is simple, but sometimes simple is just what you need. The balloons come from Admit One and were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Copics and then cut out with my very favorite detail scissors. I then added the sentiment from Year One on this fab label punched with a EK Success punch. The stitching is imperfect and wonky, just like the I like it. (See this post for more tips & tricks on sewing!) The grey background is thanks to some Pumice Stone Distress Ink and a handy dandy blending tool. I love how the grey really makes the bright balloons pop right off the card. Love!
A huge thanks goes out to Lawn Fawn for sponsoring this challenge. We wouldn’t be here without them because we are a challenge inspired by them. Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn website here, their awesome blog here and of course their full line of stamps and now a full paper collection over at Simon Says Stamp.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Now make sure to hop over to the Lawnscaping blog for a ton more inspiration and details on how to enter the challenge. I can’t wait to see what you create for this one!
We’re busy working day and night getting the Lawn Fawn booth ready for the CHA Summer show. It’s looking awesome so far! Make sure to follow me (@waterfilterlove) and Lawn Fawn (@lawnfawn) on twitter for to-the-minute updates and other general hooplah. I sure hope you’ll stop by and say hi to me at booth #1117 if you’re at the show! If you aren’t at the show, I’ll make sure to share plenty of pictures to make you feel like you were right there with us. :) Progress report on the blog incoming soon!
