Celebrating STAMPtember™ with Simon Says Stamp!

Hey there! I’m honored and excited to be featured on the Simon Says Stamp Blog today to help with their STAMPtember celebrations. Boy, have they had a full month full of fun on their blog and in their store!

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a STAMPtember™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complementing ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

For my card, I show you how to create a fun background using a new-to-me technique with distress ink and then create a little scene with this cute set from Simon Says. Click here or on the picture below to go to the Simon Says Stamp Blog for a photo tutorial and pictures of the finished card!

Simon Says has provided a coupon code for me to share with you. YAY! I know we all love saving money almost as much as we love ordering from Simon. ;) This code will provide you with 25% off all Simon Says Stamp brand products from 9/29/12 through and until 11:59pm EST 10/2/12.

And thank you to YOU for stopping by today. Have a great, happy rest of your weekend!

I feel your pain- literally. I also struggle with migraines, it was a lot of hit and miss meds with the docs and also a lot of self awareness for me. I learned my triggers and had to make huge life adjustments. Now my meds for anxiety take care of my anxiety issue(s) and my migraines are mostly (knock on wood!) gone and can be managed when I do get them. In order to kick my migraines I had to…are you ready….really ready….. I had to cut out all caffeine from my life. Yes- no more coffee or chocolate for this girl- my 2 huge triggers! I am tearing up as I write this ;) I sometimes sneak a little of the yummy, naught c’s but it is a treat I savor now. Just keep on trying new things- you will find what works for you. I love your videos and blogs and can’t wait for you to be well enough to post some more- I am greedy that way!
Sending you much love and comfort, Ali (also in Minnesota!)

    • Thanks for your sweet comment, Ali! I’m actually in the process of cutting out caffeine right now, and I feel your pain there. I love mu caffeine so much and find myself craving espresso… Of all things! Big hugs to you and thanks so much for sharing. I hope to be back to better-than-normal soon too! <3 Britta
