Wishlisting and Cardmaking.

I’ve been wanting to tweet more fun things lately, so I did this little project today. I picked out the 10 most things I’m really excited about over at Simon Says Stamp and shared them. These are all items in my cart that I’ve had the chance to use or borrow or just KNOW they’re going to be fabulous. Think of this as this week’s little gift-buying guide, if you will. In fact, I liked putting this together so much that I’m going to start working on a gift buying guide for you to help make your list to give to your loved ones. More on that later. For now, I present to you my top 10 things in my cart! (Well, 11, but 9+10 go together.) Check out my tweets from tonight here.

*Disclaimer – I am an affiliate with Simon Says but would never post links to any product or store I didn’t believe in. By clicking on the links, you are charged nothing extra, but a small percentage of your sale goes to supporting my website and videos. Just a reminder for you! I try to be as open and honest as possible and want to remind you so you don’t think I’m just trying to make a quick buck. I’m really excited about these products and will be ordering them as soon as possible. ;)

What kind of things would you like in a holiday buying guide? I would love to work on it over the next week or so and have it up on Tuesday, November 20th for your printing, clicking and viewing pleasure. :) Tell me your thoughts in the comments below and I’ll try to work in as many suggestions as possible. I have a TON of ideas, so I want to make sure I’m approaching the guide from the right angle. :)

Cardmaking

Here’s a card using some of my favorite oldie-but-goodie items. This stamp set from Hero Arts is one of my all-time favorites.

I actually made this for a recent 10-Minute Craft Dash challenge over on Paulina’s blog but was wayyy behind in getting it posted. I did succeed in making this card in under 10 minutes, though! By eliminating the fussy cutting, this took off a lot of time off the finished card.  Make sure to check out Paulina’s current challenge and give it a try. It’s really liberating!

I can’t thank you enough for all of your kind comments, tweets, emails and prayers over the last few days (and even months). There were many times over the past couple of days that I started to cry over pure joy and being overwhelmed by how much love and how many good people there are in this world of ours. There are so many crafters out there who have gone through or know some who goes through similar issues or suffer every day for one reason or another, and I’m so happy that we can be a community of people that heal together with craftying as our therapy. It’s truely, blesssedly wonderful. You make my heart full with love.

So, so, so very much love,
Britta

P.S. Migraine-free since Thursday. Imitrex dose #1 seemed to do its job! We’re on the path to getting better!
