So Thankful for You Card

I also wanted to share a little mid-release Lawn Fawn love of the set Bee Mine. It’s so cute (and affordable), so it deserved a card of its own. It’s a Valentine’s-themed set, but I wanted to show it off for a different feeling. Trust me, it’s very difficult for me to avoid using hearts! Ha!

The sentiment is borrowed from So Thankful (a Thanksgiving-themed set from LF’s last release) to bring the card into a year-round theme, and the background complements the bee perfectly with the yellow (Butter Bar ink + Sunshine Layering Paper) hexagon background. Yet another way to use that fabulous background from Hero Arts!

I colored everything in with Prismacolors and covered them in Diamond Stickles (the flowers) and Glossy Accents (the bee and leaves). I need to pull out these pencils more often. They’re so fantastic and luscious; the colors are so rich!

I’m happy to report that the preventative meds have kicked back in and my migraine is gone for good. Let’s hope that’s the last one I’ll see for a very, very long while. Oy! Now it’s back to dive into more CHA coverage for me. Enjoy my twitter feed above and do let me know if you have any more resources to share! Hope you’re as inspired as I am. :)

Love,
Britta
