It’s Friday, and I’m so freaking burnt out from this week. With classes, appointments and even fixing my registration this week, I’m soooo tired. So although I do have a OYAT (one year ago today) planned, I’ll work on that tomorrow instead. I needed to take a day to do nothing and relax. So that’s what I did today… and then I did the dishes because I hadn’t done them in like two weeks. Oops!
So here’s a card I wanted to share today. I features two great Mama Elephant stamp sets: Trifecta and Nursery Deco. I love both of these sets so much. (ME stamps in general rock. I love the design style!)
The background is done with the Trifecta stamp set in Hero Arts Mid-Tone Shadow inks (my favorite color inks EVER) in Tide Pool, Green Hills and Butter Bar. I wanted a fun label to stamp the alphabet frame onto, so I picked out one of the Apothecary Label dies from Simon Says. I used Memento markers to color the alphabet and frame in Black except for the I, O and U which I colored with the grey color from this set.
The litte heart was die cut using this die from Simon Says and then inked with Bubble Gum Shadow ink and glittered with rock candy glitter. The glitter was also a great tool for covering the Scor-Tape I used to adhere the panel of vellum on top of the awesome stamped triangle background.

I hope you’ve had a great week; thank you so much for stopping by today! I’ll be back tomorrow with another OYAT. :) Love you all and thank you for your constant encouragement and love!
Love,
Britta

Wow this is perfect, Britta! So soft and bold at the same time! And I love the crossword, cool how the “I” and “U” lined up diagonally!
