I just may be in love with this Tiny Ink Spots background stamp from Hero Arts. It’s the perfect subtle texture for something like this. The arrows from Seriously Rad and the hand-drawn ones in white gel pen can still take center stage because the pattern isn’t too crazy, but the stamp still adds a ton of texture and color.

Here’s the little giveaway for today. To continue on our week of celebration and fun, I have these two stamp sets to give away from Technique Tuesday. Both are designed by Teri Anderson, and both are awesome!

How it works: All you have to do each day to enter is answer the question of the day. Of course, you could be fabulous and spread the word to your facebook friends, twitter followers, etc. by sending them to my blog as well. That would be really cool of you! You can leave a comment (just one comment, please – only the first one will count) until the end of March 31st, 2013. I’ll be drawing, notifying and posting the winners sometime on Tuesday, April 2nd. All winners will be randomly drawn using a number generator. International entries are welcome, but I do ask, if you’re under 18, that you have the permission of your parent/guardian(s) since you will have to give me your address so I can send you the goodies!

Here’s the question of the day:

What’s the top crafting thing on your crafty wishlist right now? Something from CHA? Something small? Something big?

My number one thing on my wishlist are these adorable heart wood chips from Freckled Fawn. I’m debating placing an order with Simon Says just to pick those and some adhesive up! ;) Here’s what I’m talking about.

Can’t wait to hear what you have to say. I’m so loving all of the comments so far this week! See you tomorrow for another BIG giveaway!

There are so many little things I want right now I can’t pick just one. The wood chips are really cute. But if I got those I would want to get the mister huey’s mists to color them. Then I would need something else to go along with those. It is just a never ending list for me!

  2. Jeannie L

Really love your card and adding that arrows borderlines is such a great idea.

Wow that’s a difficult question. My top crafting wishlist is to have a craft room but that is impossible right now. Next on my list would be a Cameo and my list goes on… :)

  3. Melinda Ferraz

Love your card Britta!! I would like to get my hands on the new Dylusions sprays. Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. elizabeth

What a great idea for a card. Thank you.

  5. Rachel K

This card is super cute…loving the arrow theme. :) The thing on top of my list right now is some word bubble dies. That will be my next purchase for sure.

  6. elizabeth

What a beautiful card. I would love to try some Dylusions Sprays. I saw them on one of your other tutorials. Thank you.

  7. karen k

Really love your card. A Silhouette Portrait tops my wishlist.

  8. Nancy L.

    Def a digital cutting machine!!

  9. Cindy

I’m seriously thinking I’m wishing for a few of those uber-cool soft, subtle pastel muted Hero Arts ink pads you’ve been using!
I don’t really NEED any new pad colors, but the are so soft and beautiful………………….

  10. I just received a large order from Ranger with alot of the items I was drooling over from CHA, so I’d have to say that next on my list is the Sizzix 3-D Flip Die by Karen Burniston (although, now I want that cute little tri-circle die from your tutorial).

I love this card by the way! That arrow stamp is soooo cute, and your white gel pen doodles are the perfect finishing touches!

  11. Laura Jane

Your cicle windows look great! LOVE the TINY arrows as a bordertoo!
I’m wishin’ for that Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers !

  12. Angie Hall

I can’t believe how perfect your “doodle” arrows were. If I tried that they would be different lengths and crooked. I thought you had stamped them at first. Love the stamp sets in the giveaway today since I have 3 teenagers for grandsons they would be super to win. I like the wood veneer stars that are popular now. They are on my wish list . Thanks for the videos and prizes.

  13. Stacie D

I’d say the new paper lines by Basic Grey. Love their new releases from CHA.

  14. i have to have new stuff from simple stories–their fabulous and urban traveler collections, plus a few small leather albums and a couple 12×12 leather albums too. LOVE their new stuff!

  15. Amazing card, Britta! I LOVE the sets that you are giving away! It’s funny that you posted this today…because today I put up my Wednesday Wishlist post (http://ourchangeofart.blogspot.com/2013/03/wednesday-wishlist_27.html) and the Dude set is on there!

  16. Abbie

I love your card!!! Your recent videos have me convinced that those Hero Arts inks are the next thing on my list… They come out looking so nice ;)

    Sandra ltb

  18. Michelle from Ky

I need more time to make stuff, where do they sell that?

  19. Janet Mack

That Tiny Ink Spots is really cool. Might need that one. Oh, that could be on my crafty list but the top is ink pad reinkers. They have so many uses.

  20. That card seriously rocks ;) Love it, Britta! I’m totally drooling over the new Studio Calico kits, so I’d say that’s at the top of my wish list right now!

  21. Yep, the new Dylusions sprays for me too please! As always, superb job on your card! Thanks for sharing!

  22. I love the new distress paints from Tim Holtz

  23. Love, love, love your card! Arrows are one of my favorite shapes at the moment : ) The one thing at the top of crafting list are more Hero Arts inks!

  24. Sue D

Great card. I would like some more colors of Gelatos and so more Hero Arts mid-tone ink pads.

  25. I really want to get Quinn’s ABC’s Lawn Cuts dies over at Lawn Fawn~! Thanks for the give-away!

  26. love your blog and videos, Britta! On my list would be Quinn’s ABC’s from Lawn Fawn!

  27. I love your card. Thanks for taking the time to make a video – so cool. My wish list is being fulfilled by Amazon as I type – I have a Cameo Silhouette being shipped. It was a splurge and I hope I use it and don’t just let it sit while I stamp stamp stamp.

  28. Loly Borda

My wishlist start with some SSS dies (Apotecary labels and stamps) followed closely by mid-tone shadow inks by HA. Thanks for the chance!

  29. adetia

Pretty much anything from SSS or Lawn Fawn (don’t have anything from either yet), or a Fiskars Stamp Press!

  30. Great card I like the circle cut outs. Great colors too.
I have on my wish list the ranger paints you showed a few times. the dabber kind, also the hero hue black ink (looking for a good true black ink) and the talk bubbles with words. those are top on my list right now.

  31. Barb Ghigliotty

What a great card, Britta! I love all the arrows and how you added them around the outside of the card…very clever!
Thanks for sharing the heart wood chips…I hadn’t seen them before…there goes my wish list! My number one thing on my crafty wish list are the SSS talk bubbles 2…oh, so cute!
Thanks so much for the video…as always, I learn something new while watching you create :-)

  32. SandiL

Gorgeous card love the colours! The top items on my wish list right now are The Crafters Workshop 6×6 stencils in mini clouds, mini damask & mini punchinella (they were out of stock last SSS order) also the fall seasonal distress ink pads… thought I could live without them but I really just can’t :) Actually my SSS wish list has like 100 items one day I’ll own all of them!

  33. Wow – I have so many things on my wish list from dies to stamps to beautiful papers. One thing I’d really like to try, though, is some of the colorful spritzes/sprays that are available. I have only 2 of them – not nearly enough to get a really good feel for how I’ll like them and the different ways I could use them.
Your card today is really great. I love that spotty background stamp, too. Guess I’d better add that to my list!

  34. Holly Pettingill

I have seen people using Faber Castell gelatos and would love to give them a try! They look messy… and fun! ;)

  35. borduurmuppet

    Hi Britta,
It sound a bit goofy perhaps, but I would like to have an (rather) endless stack of thick paper in all kind of colours. So I don’t have to get all nervous if I want to start a project, halfway through I can’t go any further, because I don’t have the right paper.
    Kind regards Marja

  36. Love your card & the video, Britta! The arrows are so very fun. I love those Freckled Fawn wood hearts. They pretty much rock, so I don’t blame you for having them on your wishlist. Number one on my wishlist would be some of the Studio Calico goodies. I always seem to miss out. Darn it!

  37. Geralyn

Very nice fun card, Britta, and i enjoyed the video. The arrow border really brings it all together. The number one thing on my craft list is a new desk. The one I’m using now is so small , and really hard to work on.

  38. Mateja

I have my eye on a couple of Memory box dies. Yesterday I would say Hero Arts shadow inks but I just placed an order so they will come in mail soon :)

  39. Would love the Ali Edwards Beautiful arrow stamps :)

  40. Simi

I really wish the Corner chomper from We R Memory Keepers.
Thanks for the chance to win. By the way, that card is awesome.

  41. Hmmmmm I think my top crafting on my wish list would be a large and medium cloud punch :) I can’t find any ….

  42. Terri (blindstamper)

The top of my wishlist: SSS grid border die, LF Quinn’s alpha die, HA Bam! stamp set.

  43. Elisabeth PG

The top crafting supplies on my wishlist right now are the Distress Paint and the Hero Arts Shadow inks – would love to experiment with these! Thanks for sharing all your beautiful card ideas, love this one!

  44. This is so creative! I like how the negative spaces between the stamped arrows makes such a cool pattern, and how you have utilized it by stamping the sentiment there. Would never have guessed the pattern was made with a single arrow stamp! Your hand drawn additions gives it a good personal touch. A really great card!

  45. Mary-Anne V.

Adorable card…love the windows. I would love Inktense colour pencils …love the bright colours. That tops my list.

  46. laura m.

Awesome card! Thanks for the inspiration & giveaway :)
Top of my wishlist: Sundrifter-Love This stamp set by Hero Arts! :D

  47. Carolyn Picken

I am totalling coveting a We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. Thank you for showing your beautiful cards, they are inspirational !

  49. Anna Stone

my number one craft must have at the moment is a die cutting machine. Either a silhouette or big shot. Thanks so much for the chnace to win these awesome stamps!

  50. Jo

Those heart wood chips are adorable! Def going on my wish list. Currently, at the top of my crafting wish list is the envelope folder/maker that you (I’m pretty sure it was you) highlighted.

  51. Debby M.

I love those “love” wood chips–first time I’ve seen them. I have several new dies and stamps on my wish list at Simon Says. Not sure when I’ll push the “buy” button.

  52. Tina Louie

Top crafting wish ….. I really want some of those distress paints!!! I just can’t seem to get my hands on any!!!

  53. JC

I love the graphic effect on this card…very neat! Hmmm…there’s too many things on my crafty wishlist, but I guess some of the top ones would be some of the new Simon Says and Lawn Fawn clear stamps, especially with the matching dies! Thanks!

  54. how do i narrow down? i think what i want the most right now are distresser things by ranger. i have some small sponges i use, but love that they have handles!

  55. Shayla A McConnell

Cool card! Thanks for the video!

I’d like anything from Lawn Fawn. Or stamps from Kristina Werner.

  56. Kathy Mc

Love those heart wood chips but my wish list is SO long now I can’t even begin to prioritize it. Want some wood veneer hearts & stars, enamel dots and always more stamps, ink & paper. How’s that for a vague answer to your question? Seeing lots of trendy arrows, of which I don’t have, so would be thrilled to win these Technique Tuesdays stamp sets. Thanks, Britta!

  57. alinsmajl

    I’d love a cuttlebug!

  58. Kathy W

Sort of in the vein of your Freckled Fawn wood pieces, I’m seriously craving the new cat, dog and farm animal wood veneer by Studio Calico. Very cute. Thanks for such a fun week!

  59. Avra

I just saw Tim Holtz demoing at a Scrapbook Expo and LOVED watching him! I would love to start collecting the Distress Paints, including his new metallics! Then of course I need the BIG thing – a bigger workspace and time to play!

  60. Jen McDermott

I love the windows on this card, and the clean feel! I’m pretty much dying to get Daphne’s Closet in 6×6, but it’s kinda an “If you give a Mouse a Cookie” situation with me and Simon Says Stamp–I keep wanting to justify shipping by adding more and more to my cart. I’m loving Sharp Backdrops, Critters in the Savanna, and Quinn’s ABCs with dies…..and I need more Shadow Inks…..

  61. I always have an Ali Edwards stamp on my Wish List! Thanks for the great video and the chance to win!

  62. This card is amazing! I love the stamps you used. Top on my wish list is Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm.. love those die cuts!

  63. Kristy B

I think those heart chips are going on my wish list too, along with some more copics and those hero arts ink cubes in Sumer splash!

  64. Glorie

I would love to buy the alphabet dies from Memory Box and PTI to make my own chipboard thickers. Love your card.

  65. I’d like the LF dies and stamps. I have a lot of the stamps (but no dies).
    … one day.
Thank you Britta for the opportunity to win things!

  66. KatieP

Mine is going to be a Big Shot. My Cuttlebug bit the dust about a month ago, and NEED a replacement.

  67. aquablues

For me, it would have to be a hand selected set of Copics and a Silhouette Cameo. Since I can’t afford either of those right now, maybe I will pick up a set of Derwert Inktense pencils because I want those also! Truthfully, I could keep going with my list. There are so many wonderful goodies out there! Thanks for the give-away, Britta.

  68. Brenda

I could go small and wish for some wood veneers or larger and wish for some midtone HA inks or some SSS dies or ….Thanks for the chance.

  69. The top things on my wish list are dies of any kind. I just bought myself a machine, so I need to start my collection. My dream wish list would be the entire Lawn Fawn collection!

  70. I want the big shot pro! But I really have no room to put it so I’ll proably get the big shot.

  71. I’m addicted to Hero Arts inks at the moment, so I’d love to get some more of those! Soft Cantaloupe is definitely the next one I’m getting! ;-) xx

  72. I’d love to have some chevron papers and some little wooden figures…
I don’t think that that’s an expensive thing, right? ;-)

    Hugs, Evy

  73. Love this card! The blue/orange combo is awesome and I LOVE the arrow border. A cool change from the regular stitched lines. My big wish list item is a Silhouette Cameo…and every kind of wood veneer embellie ever made…love ’em!

  74. Carole Toppen

A Silhouette Cameo for sure. I have a Cricut and love it, but I would love to try doing print and cuts.

  75. Cheri C

If I have to limit my wants to one thing it would be the new envelope scoring guide tool from We R Memory Keepers.

  76. Leticia Vasquez

The thing at the top of my list is a Silhouette cameo

  77. Gilu

Topmost on my list would be an area to craft where the supplies don’t need to be packed and unpacked. Also, the mini heart die – just got the bigshot and can’t stop using it!

  78. Erica Johnson

The Sizzix Big Shot. Only now have I discovered die cuts and I hear this is the machine to have for budget conscious folks like myself.

  79. Jordan Brooks

My top crafty thing right now is taking a coloring class at Mesa, AZ’s upcoming scrap show!
    Much Love,

  80. Louise G

On my wish craft list are many dies … I’m also wishing to try the new gelatos colors. Since I saw them, I have to get them and they aren’t available on SSS. So so hard to wait … ;)
    Have a good day!

  81. Lynda

Did you realize how this question could distract a papercrafter like me? I just spent maybe any hour checking out the Scrapbox site, trying to decide if I’d really get enough use from the $1600 storage system! Ha! One of these is at the top of my wish list, but I’ll save the decision on which one for later!

  82. Jackie O.

I would love to build up a supply of Spectrum Noir or Copic markers! Watching Lawn Fawn videos has convinced me that a little coloring puts that extra nice finish on a card!
