Gradient Background Stamping – Video!

I have a fun video to share with you this week featuring some of my current favorites. I’m pretty sure I say the words “love this” and “obsessed with this” about 10 times in the video. Ha! Enjoy. :)

The stars of the show (pun totally intended) are the delicious Hero Arts Mid-Tone Shadow Inks in six colors – Green Hills, Mint Julep, Tide Pool, Cornflower, Stone Wash and Navy – and the Filigree Stamp Set from Mama Elephant.

The stamp set is really fantastic for building a background like this and being able to switch colors between each stamping – hence the gradient background building. You can do this with any color scheme you want, but I love it with these greens and blues especially much. To add some sparkle and shine, I added in some Atlantic Stars from Studio Calico + a layer of glossy accents and then a few of my beloved Candy Buttons from Basic Grey. So much embellishment deliciousness!

The sentiment is from another favorite Mama Elephant stamp set – Say What – which includes awesomeness like “HEEEEYYYY SEXY LADY!”

I have a little peak into another project I’ve been working on lately that I’ll be posting about on Friday. I just got my first few weeks of prints and I’m. so. excited. Consider this your fair warning that you need the Project Life Midnight Edition Core Kit, KP white letter stickers and any KP Project Kit that you can get your hands on ASAP. Trust me on this one.

I’m also working on a *secret* project that I’ll talk more about next week. I can’t say much right now, but let’s just say that I hope you’re ready to get inky. EEK! Thanks for stopping by today; see you soon!

Love,
Britta

I love this stamp set. My next priority of wants is getting this one. I have seen it used in a few videos and I am always surprised by how versatile it is and how impressive a project comes to life using it. Thanks so much —
