Stitch Fix Number Two

Regular blogging starts now. Welcome to the first day of the rest of my (and your) life!

Wanted to pop in and share my second Stitch Fix today. (Check out my first Fix on this blog post.) This fix was a great one, characterized by lots of flowy things and some of my favorite colors. Check out what I liked and loved:

Liked: the Arissa Sheer Button-Up Shirt Tail Tank by Sanctuary. I love this color, but I already have a top in this color and this was a little too tight around my bust (a common occurrence for me. ha!).

Liked: the Gold Hammered Honeycomb Earrings by Zad. I like the style and the price was decent ($28), but they felt a little too heavy on my ears.

Almost Loved: the Moni Stud Detail Sunflower Print Top by Angie. (I found it here if you love this!) I didn’t think it would look good on me before I tried it on, but it was really flattering, and the metal studs are pure fabulous. The ONLY strike against it was that it was red. Red makes me look… just not good. Seriously, any other color, SF! ;)

Loved: this Moritz Geo Print Sleeveless Dress by Tulle. This was on top of my pile of goodness, and all of my favorite colors were incorporated to this happy pattern. I loved it so much. It was just too small in the bust, so I had to let it go. I may have cried a few tears. Seriously, this is my dress soulmate… it just wasn’t meant to be.

Loved: the Edison 3/4 Sleeve Tie-Waisted Tunic by Glam. Okay, this wins. Navy? Yes. Super luxurious material? Score. Flattering to my figure? Yay! At $78 it was the most expensive item in my box, but I justified it my letting the earrings go. I’m going to have fun with this piece year-round. Love. Love. Love.

So all in all, I loved the styling of all 5 pieces, but the sizing was just a bit off. My stylist, Sarah, was awesome and I can’t wait to see what she picks out for me in my next fix! If you would like to sign up to try on some fun clothes and have someone else do the shopping for you, head over here to Stitch Fix. It’s so much fun. If you have any questions about my experience or the service, feel free to ask in the comments below and I’ll be sure to answer.

Coming this week: letterpress grad announcements, more from NSS and maybe even a new card. I’m going to have to clean off my desk first…. ha! Thanks for stopping by today!

P.S. Would you like to see my before and after when I clean up my desk? I could do that. :)

P.P.S. Thank you all so much for your love and support in regards to Jake’s grandpa. The service on Friday was beautiful and elegant, and I’m glad we were able to be there for the family. Jake’s family rocks, and I tried to help out as much as possible even though they’re going through a hard time right now. With sadness and the bad comes beauty and the good. This weekend was so much of a reminder of that.

Of course, we want to see the before and after shots!

Kudos to you and Jake! It is lovely that you both went home from his Grandpa’s funeral. I know many people including my siblings who did not feel they needed to go to a grandparent’s funeral. Nothing can be better than a close-knit family.
