Hey, loves! I have a double-card video for you today. I’m feeling festive! Enjoy. :)
Here’s a look at the finished cards in all their fun glory:
Okay, I promise next week’s video tutorial won’t involve any gold. What can I say? I have a problem. ;) I can’t help it. The gold paper from Silhouette and the KP gold sequins add so much flair to this card.
The Puffy Star Stackables make the perfect window and frame to accent the patterned background. Be still my heart, puffy stars!
To mix things up a bit, the sentiment is from the Lucky Stars stamp set, also from Lawn fawn. That’s such a useful little set with the star dies.
Here’s a look at today’s giveaway. Please read below for entry instructions. A big thanks to Lawn Fawn for sponsoring this giveaway (they provided some of the items, and I paid for others). Love you, LF!
How it works: All you have to do each day to enter is answer the question of the day. Of course, you could be fabulous and spread the word to your facebook friends, twitter followers, etc. by sending them to my blog as well. That would be really cool of you! You can leave a comment (just one comment, please – only the first one will count) until the end of July 7th, 2013. I’ll be drawing, notifying and posting the winners sometime on Tuesday, July 9th. All winners will be randomly drawn using a number generator. International entries are welcome. If you’re under 18, please be sure to have the permission to enter from your parent/guardian(s) since you will have to give me your address so I can send you the goodies!
Here’s the question of the day:
What’s your favorite crafty trend right now?
My answer: Gold anything! This doesn’t stop at my embellishment collection; I’ve been collecting gold jewelry, accessories and decorations for around my apartment for a couple months now. It’s so funny how metallics come around like this. Long live the gold! ;)
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I’ll see you tomorrow with another giveaway and some more celebrating. Have a happy and safe holiday, fellow Americans!
