It’s world cardmaking day AND my two year anniversary with Jake, so I couldn’t resist sitting down and making a card for both occasions.
Before I share the card, I want to make sure to let you know that Ellen Hutson is having a sale today to celebrate WCMD – use the code WCMD2013 for 15% off your entire order today until midnight Pacific time. I already took advantage of the sale and can’t wait to share what I picked up. ;)
On this card I played with a few new toys as well as a few old favorites. New things that I’m loving – the Tim Holtz Industrious sticker borders that are covered with a metallic surface and go great with the oh-so-fabulous Archival Inks by Wendy Vecchi. She’s the best and so are the colors I used on this border – Cornflower Blue and Watering Can. Fab!
I finished up the card with some of my oldie-but-goodies: tiny star veneers adhered with matte multi medium, a piece of gold striped washi tape, and stitching with an Amy Tan template. Lots of layers mean lots of fun. :)
