Hi there! Its a snowy (sigh) day up here in Minnesota, and I’ve been doing a lot of catching up today: with homework, cleaning and other things around the house. I decided today was a day to catch up on things around the blog that I’ve been meaning to talk about.
1. Cards for Charlie
I haven’t taken the cards over to the family yet because they are still in town. (Here is my original post about this project.) Charlie is doing so well! (You can read more about him here.) So if you’d still like to send a card for this sweet little boy and/or his family, you can make one and send one to me here at this address. I’ll take them over to them in a few weeks. :)

2. A haul video
I made this the other day about my newest purchases from some of my favorite places, new and old. It’s a lot of things… I’m not going to be buying much for a while until school is out! I need to focus on my studies while midterms are in full gear.
3. Some of my newest favorite things
I mentioned this a couple weeks ago, but that was when I’ve bought it. Now that I’ve gotten the chance to really use it dozens and dozens of times, I wanted to share my opinion of it: I love it. It cuts straight every time and is sooo sharp on paper but the blade isn’t dangerous to the touch. One thing that I do miss, though, is the ability to measure under 3/4″. That’s just something you lose with this kind of cutter, but I’m getting used to it. I bought mine at Archiver’s, but you can also buy it here from Amazon.
This is another one of my current favorite things. I’m loving this It’s the Little Things line from Fancy Pants. It really doesn’t do itself justice on the computer screen; I loooove it in person. The paper above is a beautiful kraft paper with all of those pretty patterns on the back.
I just installed two of these shelves next to my desk and finally got to put my Distress Inks and Jenni Bowlin inks in their proper place. It’s so nice to seem them out in the open!
4. I love playing along with Heather Pulvirenti‘s Totally Hues challenges, so I was super excited to see that I was in the Top 5 for challenge #3! I can’t wait to create with the 4th color combo sometime soon… hopefully tonight. Lovely! You should definitely check this cute challenge out.
Here’s the close-up:
Supplies: Cardstock – Papertrey Ink (Rustic Cream and Kraft), Ribbon – May Arts, Stamp – Lawn Fawn (Sophie’s Sentiments), Ink – Tsukineko (Memento Black), Pen – Signo, Corner Rounder – WRMK.
Whew! You still with me? Ha. Kudos if you made it through this post. I just had to get that all out there. :) So go make some cards! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
