Hey all! Glad you’re joining us for another fab Lawnscaping blog hop! You should be arriving here from Gretchen’s blog, and if you’re just joining in the hop now, head to the post here to start from the beginning. :)
Fun, huh? Here’s what I’ve created inspired by the color red:
I stamped the flower (this gorgeous poinsettia from Penny Black) three times onto Neenah White cardstock and made one the background piece, one the main flower and the last one the small accent leaves. You can see all of the fun dimension in this close-up picture below. I colored all of the flowers (and the background) with my trusty distress inks. I used Barn Door, Festive Berries – part of the Winter Seasonal Distress Inks that are on SUPER SALE at Simon Says Stamp right now – and Fired Brick for the reds and Mustard Seed over Barn Door for the background.
The sentiment is from the Bows and Holly Set from Lawn Fawn (one of our awesome sponsors for this blog hop!). It’s my favorite holiday set because it has a TON of uses for all year long. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by today! It’s a busy Friday for me of appointments and making sure everything’s set and ready to go for my Spain trip in three weeks. So excited! (Have I said that enough? I think I need to come up with a new phrase…) Enjoy the rest of the hop!
