  3. Congratulations everyone!

Britta, I was wondering if I could ask you a question about making videos! I am just trying to get started adding some small videos on my blog, but don’t have anything fancy to do the job. My little digi camera can video record so want to use that to get started, then add voice later as my laptop has a microphone. What video editing software do you use/recommend? I have Windows Live Movie Maker on my laptop so I am playing around with that atm…

    Thanks! :)

    • I’m happy to hear that you want to start making videos! Sometimes video is simply the best way to show something to your blog readers. :) Using your digi camera is a good place to start – I actually use mine for the videos right now, and it does a pretty good job. I use this microphone stand with this converter so it hangs over my desk and out of my way and then edit in Final Cut Pro or iMovie when I’m done (since I have a Mac), but Windows Movie Maker is a perfectly fine place to start. :) The best way to learn is to just go ahead and start making videos! They’ll get better every single time you make them. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer! Thanks for reading my blog. <3 Britta

      • Thanks a lot Britta! My main problem with my digi camera was that it picked up a lot of background noise and I can’t work out how to get rid of it in order to then lay fresh voice over the top if that makes sense. Will keep playing though! :)
