Hey friends! I’m absolutely thrilled to be participating in this awesome celebration of A Blog Named Hero‘s 2nd birthday! You should be arriving here at my blog from Christine Drogt‘s wonderful blog. If you’re just starting the hop now, you can head here for the beginning.
Here’s the card I made to celebrate this special occasion today:
I went a CAS (clean and simple) direction with this one, using some of my newest Hero Arts goodies, the Constellation background stamp with Unicorn Pastel Mint ink. I love the soft-but-present texture the pale mint gives to the white cardstock. The Pastel Mint ink does show up a little better in real life and is the perfect light mint color.
I stamped the bold Happy Birthday sentiment from It’s Your Day stamp set in Navy Mid-Tone Ink, used Wet Cement cardstock as the base and kept the embellishments simple with Tim Holtz Mirrored Stars in a visually pleasing triangle formation. The end result is happy, celebratory, and perfectly gender neutral using this color scheme. Cards for guys are usually so difficult, aren’t they?! Haha.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! The next stop on the hop is my good (and talented!) friend Stephanie Klauk, so hop on over there to continue on this trail of happiness and celebration!
Also, be sure to leave a comment on each stop to increase your chances to WIN one of two prize packages from Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp!
Love,
