You Rock, Cath!

Stopping by with a post today for a very special reason. I’m joining in on sharing my appreciation for Cath and everything she’s done with the Moxie Fab blog of the past few years. You should be arriving from Lee Murphy’s blog. You can start from the beginning of this ginormous hop here on the Moxie Fab blog.

Simply stated, Cath: you rock. There have been so many times over the past few years that I’ve found inspiration from something you’ve posted, discovered a new favorite cardmaker or even gained some new followers myself from being linked to on the blog. Thanks for all the inspiration and happiness you’ve brought onto the internet; I know big, great things are ahead for you!

About the card: I kept it simple by focusing on the sentiment (from Cole’s ABCs dies from Lawn Fawn) on top of some fab gold metallic paper made by Silhouette (you can even print on it, and it’s adhesive backed, too!). The asterisks are from Amy Tan’s Hello set of embroidery templates; I sewed them in a slightly darker color than the light pool cardstock for a nice tone-on-tone look.

Enjoy the Ride – Giveaway Day 4!

Howdy there! I’m here with my forth project for this week. I’m super excited about today’s happy creation but am even more excited to share with you what I have cooked up tomorrow. You’re going to like it! I’m off to enjoy the holiday with some friends and hope you get a chance to enjoy this week too. I’m ready for my early weekend to begin!

I used probably my favorite stamp from the Lawn Fawn Admit One stamp set. I mean, how versatile is a balloon? With the latest LF release, they introduced the dies to match. Now I can stamp, color and cut balloons for dayz. I colored the balloons with two copics each, blending just a little of the darker color onto the bottom left of each balloon (see the colors used below).

And of course, I couldn’t resist making another circular card with the Circle Stackables dies and the coordinating Scalloped Circle Stackables dies. I went for a tone-on-tone look on the kraft using the fabulous triangle background builder from Sharp Backdrops with Soft Pink shadow ink from Hero Arts. I like that!

Here’s a look at today’s giveaway. A big thanks to Lawn Fawn for sponsoring this giveaway (they provided some of the items, and I paid for others). Love you, Lawn Fawn!

How it works: All you have to do each day to enter is answer the question of the day. Of course, you could be fabulous and spread the word to your facebook friends, twitter followers, etc. by sending them to my blog as well. That would be really cool of you! You can leave a comment (just one comment, please – only the first one will count) until the end of July 7th, 2013. I’ll be drawing, notifying and posting the winners sometime on Tuesday, July 9th. All winners will be randomly drawn using a number generator. International entries are welcome. If you’re under 18, please be sure to have the permission to enter from your parent/guardian(s) since you will have to give me your address so I can send you the goodies!

Here’s the question of the day:

What’s your favorite stamp set right now?

Please share! I would love to find some more favorites. :) My answer: I can’t get enough of the KP Instalove set for Project Life and the Lawn Fawn Lucky Stars is my go-to for sentiments right now. Gah! So many ones that I love.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Make sure to stop back tomorrow for my favorite giveaway of the week! EEK!
